Now, I don’t have this kind of green smoothie every morning but I wanted to switch things up a bit. I’ve had gnarlier smoothies but this one was topping the charts for sure.
Makes 2-3 servings or about 40 ounces
The Smooth & Silky Green Smoothie:
- 1 ripe avocado
- 4-8 stems of dandelion greens, washed
- 4 romaine lettuce leaves, washed
- 2-3 fresh or frozen bananas
- 1 ripe peach
- 1 orange, peeled and seeded
- 1 1/2 cups water
Blend all ingredients together until smooth. If you want the consistency thinner, add more water as needed. I suggest in 1/4 cup increments.
